Last week, Senior Safety Consultant, Frank Castillo, attended the N. Carolina Department of Labor Safety Awards for his client; Arnold Wilbert Corp.
Arnold Wilbert Corp. is a manufacturer of concrete products. After reaching out to the Risk Management Division, Frank was able to provide his client with an aggressive scope of services over a 6 month period including: safety and forklift training, Mock OSHA inspections, delivery driver training and more. Due to all their diligent work, with the help of the Risk Management Division, Frank’s client was able to achieve a Gold Certificate for not having one recordable injury in 2017. This will make the corporation’s third time receiving this award and there’s talk that if they continue on the path they’ve been treading this year, a consecutive win next year is not out of the question!

The N.C. Dept. of Labor’s Safety Award Program recognizes private and public firms throughout the state that achieve and maintain good safety records. The program is designed to stimulate interest in accident prevention and to promote safety in the workplace by providing an incentive to employers and employees to maintain a safe and healthful workplace.
